My girls and I decided this year that we needed to have a Fall Bucket List! If you want to see what’s on our Fall Bucket List, you can click here. We love everything fall! Nothing beats the crisp air, autumn leaves, and pumpkin patches… But one of our FAVORITE places to go every October is Rowley’s Red Barn in Santaquin, Utah.
Ready for a photo overload??
On the south side of the barn, tractors load and unload people, taking them to and from the fun activities that they offer about a half mile (total guess) west into the orchards… Here are some pics I snapped on the way down:
The line forming at the front of the picture is people waiting to purchase their tickets. Tickets are $9 per person, or $40 for a family of 5. You are allowed to stay down at the activity area as long as you want, and for a few hours of fantastic fun, I felt that was extremely fair! It does cost a little extra if you want to pick pumpkins while you are down there.
These darling little boys were sitting across from me on the way down. I had to snap a picture because it was just too good to pass up! They loved that little tractor ride, and were completely entertained the whole way to the activities.
Rounding the corner to the activity area, there is a GIGANTIC pumpkin patch! If I remember correctly, they charge $4 per pumpkin. You are allowed to just walk out into the patch and pick whatever one you want.
I made a little video showing the next few activities that we wanted to do. The first was the potato sack slide. The second was Rowley’s new air trampoline. It was awesome! And the third activity, my personal favorite, is shooting the apple guns… You can watch here:
After all of that fun, my older daughter and her friend wanted to do the corn maze. Rowley’s has three mazes to choose from, and they are all super fun! One of them is a scavenger hunt, and that one is my favorite.
While they were in the corn maze, my younger daughter and I went to check out the hay pyramid, did some more bouncing on the air trampoline, and then got a drink at the concessions stand.
When we get back to the barn, here is how we round out our day at Rowley’s… With TREATS!!! In the barn, they have a really awesome gift shop and they sell hard ice cream, apple doughnuts, pie, flavored suckers, lots of produce, and last but not least (drum roll please), the treat that I look forward to EVERY. SINGLE. YEAR… Apple Cider Slush!
So, to wrap things up, we LOVE LOVE LOVE to visit Rowley’s Red Barn in Santaquin Utah. If you’ve never been there, I would highly recommend it! No matter your age, you will find something that you love about it.
